Additional info & updates

fee waivers at many of these schools. (i got late fee waivers to Stanford & USC; did not apply to either)

received = day lsac report was requested. ( i know, i'm a lazy bastard.)

tailored each PS to the school's specific legal strengths ( at least this way, if i'm rejected, i can't blame it on a bad PS.)

Richmond: Dean of Admissions called Sunday 1/30/05 at 4:24 PM - encouraged me to visit, and said i would receive a "sizable SCHOLARSHIP!" (letter sent next day)

GEORGE MASON: E-mail from Assistant Dean Jackson. Basically said congratulations, and that he was sending the e-mail because he couldn't reach me by phone (makes sense, seeing as how i'm in the UK and they have my home number). Nothing in the e-mail about scholarships :(, but maybe; he said my packet was on the way! I really, really like George Mason, because of their law and economics program.

Miami: I don't know exactly when i was admitted into Miami. I just got an e-mail (02/21/2005) addressed to all admitted students, inviting me to apply for the James Weldon Johnson / Robert H. Waters Summer Institute. I guess the acceptance came in the snail mail (i should call my parents' house pretty soon).

HOWARD: again, i don't know when i got in; but i received an e-mail for all admitted students. liking howard for various reasons; their website, however, is a litttle off-putting. (still have to call those parents of mine)

Northwestern: it said that they don't look to the waitlist until june. i'm not sending two deposits. but then again...

Georgetown: not completely sure about this, as i have yet to see the letter. however, it was inferred from decisions that the others received who went complete on 03/04/05. confirmed 03/09/05

American: my decision letter was e-mailed to me as a pdf at my request.

unc: what were they thinking?
