Additional info & updates

Is anyone else out there having a terrible time deciding where to go? The schools to which I've been accepted are all regional, so it comes down to money, location, and specialization. DePaul, for example, has a great human rights program, but I don't really want to settle down in Chicago. I was really hip to environmental law, but I've since changed my mind. San Diego would be cool, but $36k/year is a bit steep for my budget. Any advice?

I didn't read the fine print and accidentally applied to two schools (Wisconsin and Hawaii) that didn't take my LSAT score because it's 9 months too old.

As far as the pending applications go, I'm not crossing my fingers for much beyond being waitlisted. I'm sure that Colorado, Washington, and Arizona are real long shots, considering how poor my undergrad scores are and un-awe-inspiring my LSAT score is.

I just wish they would get it over and tell me!

Does anyone ask for money even if a school hasn't given you any? It's too late now, but I was just curious.

You have some good choices. I, too, am undecided, even at this point. Since I don't know where I want to settle down, it makes the decision evven tougher. So, any one school standing out to you? BTW, I will be visiting Seattle U this week. Let me know if you have questions.

i had to choose between a lot of the schools that you're looking at and i went with University of Oregon. it would help if you knew where you wanted to work after graduation. i will probably stick to the pacnw or northern CA. for me, USD and Loyola are too expensive (both in cost of living and tuition) without a scholarship. that is unless you plan on working in southern california. if not you have comparable schools that are cheaper to choose from. of the northwest schools U of O is the cheapest, the smallest, and the highest ranked. it's only downside is that it's in eugene while the other two are in portland and seattle. don't get me wrong eugene is a great town, it's just not as interesting as pdx and sea.
