10/22/09 -- My first LR section killed my LSAT. Missed almost as many as all other sections combined. Now, I reckon Berkeley was a waste of money. And Vandy. Emory. Washington. Probably Colorado and Hastings, too. Maybe Davis.

11/6/09 -- APPS ON HOLD
I just couldn't take it anymore: I'm retaking in December. Notified my favored schools. If only I had decided this just two days ago I would've saved $66. Anyway, here's hoping for 165 .

11/19 -- SOME OF 'EM, ANYWAY
In at Santa Clara. Notified them of my re-take on Nov. 8. Reckon they don't care, they like me just the way that I am. A little pressure lifted from Dec. 5, but not enough. Back to the PTs.

12/29 -- Pffft. Crappy LSAT re-take = tough, anxious days ahead.

1/19 -- WL by GWU in the mail today. Granted, I'd already determined that D.C.-area wasn't likely my destination. But, still, it stings.

1/25 -- WL ... or whatever they want to call it ... at UGA. "Held for further review."

2/1 -- UO acceptance today in mail.

2/24 -- My first acceptance flipout: In at CU by mail today. Surprised I didn't have to endure WL.

3/5 -- I guess it could be a mistake, but I accessed L&C's admitted students' page tonight. Looks like Portland is now on the table.

3/8 -- Informed of higher UALR scholarship (negotiated). And L&C packet came in the mail today: $10K per year. Sending UO withdrawal tomorrow.

3/10 -- UGA officially tells me I'm WL'd. I officially WD.

3/11 -- Withdrew from Santa Clara.

3/16 -- Hastings WL. Probably willing to wait into July for this one.

3/18 -- Successfully finished negotiating substantial $ increase at McGeorge, though numbers above don't reflect it. Meanwhile: WL e-mail from Emory. And UW appears to have made a decision, if my status checker is to be believed.

3/19 -- Davis basically just ended the cycle. Crazy excited.

3/24 -- Dang. UW rejected. Makes things easier, but it still stings.

3/25 -- Vandy says decision mailed yesterday. Will get by tomorrow, surely. Expecting rejection w/admonishment for wasting their time.

3/27 -- Vandy waitlist. I'll give it a shot, for sure, but I will probably will pull plug in July.

3/30 -- McGeorge was generous. But I'm out.

4/12 -- Withdrew from L&C.

4/28 -- Withdrew from CU; maybe next time.

5/3 -- Withdrew from Emory.

5/27 -- Withdrew from UALR.

6/4 -- Withdrew from Vandy. Tough to do. But I love California and know that's where I want to be.

Thanks! Yes, UALR is my first choice because of our situation. We should hear something from UAMS in the next couple of weeks...After that, we will be able to make our final decision. How about you? Getting close to a decision?
