Congrats to you too!! I was really surprised by the American decision. It was definitely one of the lowest ranked schools I applied to. Looking at their graph, it seems 161 was the waitlist cutoff. Good luck with GW and the rest of your cycle!

Hey, to answer your question: I received my WL from American about a week ago and withdrew a day or so later. (Shouldn't have applied, for geographical reasons. Same with GW.) Good luck to you.
