Matt, Thank you so much for your kind words! I hope you get all acceptances, because you definitely deserve it! I can't tell you how happy I was when you told me you got into Georgetown! -Krista
Thank you so much for the massive amounts of congrats! I feel so special! :) I can't wait for our law school visits! Here's to hoping for 1) more acceptances and 2) to being roommates in the fall! :D
Now I have all the old rush songs going through my head . . . where and when did you go to school? send me a pm if you want to. By the way, congrats on your acceptances so far. You have some great choices and I am sure you will have more to choose from by the time you get all your decisions back!
1) Thanks, Juris Debt! 2) Esperanza, my favorite (really only part) of rush that I really liked was the songs/cheering! Haha...so much fun...the only problem is that the songs were so catchy that they'd be stuck in my head for soooo long! :) 3) Matokah, I'm really not upset over Georgetown. It was very much expected and after the ND waitlist and Fordham accpetance, it was a good week overall. (Gotta stay optimistic here!) LOL. And Thomas Jefferson and Appalachian keep sending me mail/invites to apply. LOL.
Just curious as to how long after your acceptance letter/call from Schwartz at Cardozo did you get the scholarship letter - I got the acceptance packet two weeks ago so just wondering how long it took you (if you remember after that) to offer you the scholarship. Thanks. Philip PS I realize not everyone will be offered scholarships but just wondering at what point do I speak to them to find out for sure.
trf930, I found out about my Cardozo scholarship the first week of February (either the 2nd or the 3rd). So, about two weeks or so. Good luck! :)
Your #s are awesome...your index is way higher than mine so I can't imagine that you wouldn't get a scholarship!!!
nice. congrats!
so FU is #1 so far?
Chris--Yes, Fordham is my first choice right now (with Seton being second if for no other reason than $). I may change my mind after visiting all the schools, though...we shall see. Matokah--Hehe...thanks for the congrats! BTW, I thought this was hilarious---Temple is so TTT they can't even spell "school" correctly. They sent me an e-mail with the the subject heading "Temple Law Zchool".
;) J/k. I guess SCU ranks somewhere below Fordham, Seton Hall, UConn, and Tulane. It is ranked somewhere above Wake Forest and Temple. Honestly, I don't really want to stay in the bay area (unless some very high ranked school here miraculously decides to accept me). I am sad that you took down your LSN account b/c now I can't congratulate you a million times anymore! :( Anyway, I hope your last semester of grad school is going well!
congrats with all the admits. have fun with the choices in front of you.
HI, I know that you have already withdrawn your application from Santa Clara, but I was wondering if you could tell me what your visit was like. Thanks!
I get new news from schools or something else has changed...this is what happens when you apply to too many schools! :P P.S. It was awesome meeting you!
Good job on getting your #1!! I hope I get off one of my waitlists too! I'm sure you'll kick major butt at ND!
I have similar numbers are you and will be applying this following year, any advice? What do you think was the deciding factor on your application that the schools looked at? kick-ass personal statement? work experience? any advice is appreciated, thanks!
rcunio, I really can't quite articulate why I dislike Wake. I mean, it is a great school and probably the highest ranked school that I actually have a shot of getting into. The character/fitness portion of the app irritated me and I just kept finding other little things to dislike (like it being in NC, Wake taking forever to request my LSDAS report, etc...) It is a great school and who knows? Maybe I'll end up attending if I get admitted. Time will tell. Good luck with your apps! Are you applying to any of the schools that you listed as "not applied" on your LSN profile?
