03-08-07: Was in Austria on vacation. Logged into my e-mail on a crappy dial-up computer and found an acceptance e-mail from Tulane. Woot!

03-12-07: Acceptance to Temple via snail-mail. Big white envelope with folder inside. $12k non-renewable scholarship. First money!
Acceptance to Quinnipiac via e-mail. Kind of figured I'd get in. Quick, though.

03-16-07: Acceptance package for Quinnipiac in the mailbox. $25k renewable scholarship. Sliding scale for renewal -- you keep it all if you stay in the top third of the class.

03-17-07: Big priority mail envelope from American. I was laughing watching the mailman try to fit it in the box before I bolted through the snow to snag it. Also a thin letter of congrats from the dean at Tulane. Still no acceptance package from them, though.

03-19-07: Finally got snail-mail acceptance package from Tulane. $25k/yr. scholarship package! Woot, woot! Also, acceptance to DePaul with $12k/yr.

03-21-07: Waitlisted at George Mason. Withdrawing. Makes sense; I was borderline and didn't put a lot of effort into the application. More than half-way through now. I just want UConn to hurry up and let me know.

03-24-07: Apparently UConn saw my plea. Got my acceptance today! Small envelope, my mother reports. (I was at Temple's admitted student's day.)

07-22-07: LSN just admonished me to update, so here's the final stats. The Pitt waitlist is kind of a joke, because two weeks later they sent me an e-mail basically saying, "We're interested if you're interested." Blah. Brooklyn acceptance by phone. Ohio State WL small envelope.
