Just kidding, congrats on your big jump on the LSAT. Best of luck to you this cycle. Are you definitely going to Loyola?

Ideas

Cooley is an option.......KIDDING!! Depends on what part of the country you want to live in. I would recommend Fordham if you wanted to go live in New York City. If you wanted to stay in Chicago, Loyola is a great school. If you are interested in sunshine and a change in climate, there are lots of great schools in California; McGeorge, Hastings, University of San Diego are all great schools!

Loyola Chi

No shot for me at Loyola of Chi, although I am sending in my app for Loyola New Orleans PT program. Wake Forest is a great school, but San Diego is just an amazing city! Although, a school like Wake will definitely provide you with plenty of opportunity after graduation, and it might be easier to live in SD after you get that big salary.

Loyola

Are you accepted FT or PT at Loyola? I'm considering both, and we have similar scores... Good luck with the apps!

Thanks. good luck to you as well! Did you not like Loyola specifically? or did you just want to wait a year for law school?

My score is low and I wanted to know how did you increase yours. Did you take any prep courses? Thank you

Interesting on Loyola. They said they weren't looking at anyone till "after the holidays." Why must the lie to us. Anyways, congratulations!!

American

The law school at American is not that close to the main campus, so it's more of a "building" than a "campus." It is pretty nice, especially the library. The undergrad campus seemed small and unimpressive to me, but my buddy that's a 2L out there says he's only been there once and that was just to see it. It doesn't seem like they have a lot of the ammenities I'm used to from KU (nice fitness center, etc.). I don't think we'll have too much time for that stuff in law school anyway though.

American visit

Hey, you found me! I really liked American. The whole "friendly law school" vibe was cool. I also thought the facilities were more impressive than Temple. (Though, to be fair, Temple had booze at its reception ... and a really cool trial advocacy program.) The only major concern for me about American is the cost. I'd be graduating with a lot of debt. I'm visiting Tulane this weekend I'll see how much it impresses me, because they offered me some money. Right now, I think UConn is my first choice. Still, I have concerns about the fact that it's basically a regional law school. I'd be pretty much committing to work in Connecticut. I can't believe I only have two weeks to make up my mind. Yikes! Good luck on your end! Post a comment when you make your decision. Patrick
