Sent my apps in back in January but due to financial hold on transcripts, LSAC report wasn't completed until March 4th. :-(

March 8th: My report reached Howard (my top choice!) and UMKC... still waiting on UDC, American, and FSU (thinking about withdrawing app bc I really don't want to be in Tallahassee)

March 10th: Saw my American, UDC, and FSU app went complete on LSAC yesterday, never sent my certification form to FSU though since I don't want to attend anymore.
Got an email of acceptance from UMKC, waiting on scholly offer. Howard still has my heart so I hope to hear something from them soon.

March 14th: Just got home from a weekend trip to Boston, Got an admissions package from UMKC. They offered me full tuition and fees plus books for all three years!

March 17th: Got an email of acceptance from UDC that said admissions letter and scholly offer should be here via snail mail soon.

March 22nd: Received my scholly offer from UDC $14,700 for the first year. Considering tuition is proposed to go up $3,000, I'm gonna apply for the Advocates for Justice Scholly as well tho because it guaruntees full-tuition for all 3 years. E-mailed the dean at Howard on a status update because i have to accept UDC or UMKC's offer by April 1st!

March 26th: American online status checker says decision was made, waiting on the mail now. Still need to decide between UDC and UMKC by Thursday!!! Ahhhh!!

March 29th: American priority mailed my decision... I'm in!! No word on my financial aid package yet though... Still waiting on Howard (which happens to be my top choice... COME ON!!!)

March 30th: Howard came just in time!! (Or shall I say God did) I just got an email notifying me of my acceptance to Howard with a $17,500/year Merit Scholarship. Its only about 3/4 of tuition and fees but I will GLADLY take out a loan for the rest. I have made my decision....

Howard University School of Law Class of 2013!!!!

Congrats on your acceptances. I was accepted to both American and Howard as well. What solidified your decision to attend Howard over American?
