Thank you for your very gracious comment! This cycle has been somewhat disenchanting so your comment was quite uplifting! I have been doing mostly attorney work at my law firm for three years, have 8 years of military experience and great reference letters from Ivy League educated attorneys that I work for, yet a 4-hr standardized test score is deciding my fate. Don't you just hate that???? :)

Thanks for the comments. I am hoping that my softs can get me into my top choice (William and Mary). My 1st two replies were acceptances with scholarships so hopefully that will take some of the sting out of the schools I am pretty sure will send denials.

Thanks for the well wishes. I'm having a hard time making a choice and I don't think I've applied to half as many schools as you have. My strategy was to look at the states I wouldn't mind living in and then applying to the ones where I was close to or above their 75%. I realize that this "playing it safe" mentality might be selling myself a little short but after being out of school for almost a decade I think I'll feel a little better knowing that I'm well qualified to go to whichever school I pick - which is now the issue. While I think I'd prefer to live in Charlotte and I like their "experiencial" approach, the school is provisionally accredited. The scholarship award from St. Thomas means that all I'd have to cover is living expenses and transportation to the school (it's about an hour away) so it's pretty tempting. I'll be visiting the school next week and desperately hoping that I fall madly in love with it to make my decision easier and makes me forget that they are lower in the rankings. I'm looking for any advice from anyone to help me out here but I don't know where to look!!! But, thanks again. I wish you the best of luck on your cycle. It looks like you're just playing the waiting game at this point and I know how harrowing that can be...

I worked pretty hard to get those little acceptances next to the schools haha I'm sure you will have a great cycle your self. Good Luck and don't let any waitlists or rejections slow you down. You'll get into some amazing schools!

I just got the waitlist e-mail from Illinois as well... I wasn't the happiest but I'm glad to be considered! My status at DePaul changed to decision letter sent so we shall see if my decision resembles yours there too. Good luck with the rest of your cycle!

American's very high for me. I'd be very happy there if I don't get into any of my further reach schools. I'm excited about D.C. as I've enjoyed it every time I visited.
