I'm also planning on submitting an update to my application (Just got an internship with a legal aid society for the summer, I'm hoping that'll help!)

2/9/09 Got my first response, rejected from George Mason U, wasn't my top choice but still stung :(

2/11/09 Got my first acceptance! American University, I hadn't looked too much into their program but I'm excited to be accepted nonetheless :)

2/18/09 Rejected from UVA, not surprised, nor am I really that upset. Was a tooooootal long-shot. Wasn't expecting an email at 9 PM though, just goes to show you that you always have to be on alert! Ah well, at least I'm in somewhere!

2/23/09 In at Pace! Interviewed there in January, nice surprise with the scholarship. I think I'm still leaning towards American over Pace but I have a bunch more schools to hear from!

2/24/09 FINALLY went complete at Cardozo. I received a fee waiver from them so I applied a bit later than my other apps but it took forever for them to sort through it. Lets hope for some good news soon!

2/26/09 "waitlisted" or deferred to second round of admissions. I'm really torn, I haven't submitted any paperwork and probably wont. American is a better school (in my opinion) anyway.

3/6/09 Waitlisted at fordham via status checker (they dont even send emails). Pretty thrilled actually, thought it'd be a straight out rejection. I'm def. going to keep myself on it.

3/6/09 (later that day) Waitlisted at Washington & Lee. Doesn't bode well for my W&M app :( but I'm sending both schools updates to try to get off the waitlist!

Im in as well... and it is a wonderful school. I just visited this weekend. Like you though, Im also praying i get off the waiting list for a couple of the schools. Suerte!
