I sort of decided on going to law school a bit late in the cycle :( Took LSAT in Feb '07. Cleveland State's College of Law has the most flexible part-time scheduling so it would be perfect for me. But I'm also considering University of Akron. Wish me luck!

3/29 - I got accepted at CSU. I'm so happy! but no word of any scholarship money :(

4/9 - Received acceptance email from Akron. Offering $3,500 per year (I think they offer this to a lot of folks). I call CSU and tell them about Akron scholarship. I ask them to reconsider me for scholarship money. They say they'll forward my request to admissions committee and will get back to me.

4/12 - Turn in my deposit to CSU to reserve my spot. I withdraw from Akron and Toledo.

4/14 - Get a letter from CSU offering me $4,000 per year. YES!!!! I will be going to CSU in the fall in their evening program.

6/18 - Received call from Case asking if I still was interested. Told them to withdraw my application. I guess I'll never know if I would've been accepted or not.

Hi I'm Jessica. I was thinking maybe a week before school starts, some of the lsners might want to get together at Becky's (a bar right down the street from the law school) It might be cool if most attending on lsn want to go.

Have you visited CSU and Akron? I was recently accepted by CSU and am curious of your opinion on the schools. Any input would be much appreciated.
