Additional info & updates

Phoenix sent two letter-size envelopes on the same day. One was an acceptance letter with the scholarship information included, and the other was a seat deposit form.

St. Mary's sent a regular-size letter along with a small envelope on the same day. The letter was my acceptance, with no mention of a scholarship...the other was 2 invitations to an admitted students reception. A few weeks later I received another letter-size envelope with the scholarship offer.

The only thing I have received from UNLV is a letter in the mail stating it could be as late as April before I hear anything. I received an email from Baylor stating my application was complete and under review weeks ago...

Help with UNLV?

Have you heard anything from UNLV? Do you know anyone who has? I applied to the nighttime program, do you know anyone who has applied to this program and received a decision yet? UNLV is my top choice and I am starting to get nervous.

Waitlist is OK

Don't feel bad about the waitlist. Last year I heard they waitlisted less then 100 applicants and like 25 people got off the list and got in. If you have not sent in your waitlist info yet, tell them you want to be considered for all programs (fulltime, part-time day and part-time night). This will show them you are serious about getting off the list and give them more options to get you off the list. All hope is not lost, good luck.

Congrats on getting off the waitlist! Are you evening or day PT?

Part-time stuff

Hi! I have a few questions about your acceptance process... Did you originally apply for the part time programs? Or, were you like me? I applied for full time, got wait listed, and have requested to be put on all possible lists (including part time programs)? If you were like me, when did you get your wait list notification, and how soon did you get into a part-time program? Thank you so much!! Hillary
