Yeah...A partner in my uncle's firm was also called at the last minute and offered admission at Samford...you'd think that they would have a little bit of consideration for us since we have to make arrangements to attend and can't wait forever for them. Anyways, good luck with your cycle.
Hey, Maybe you will get a shot at Cumberland! I have not been to Mercer either, but I have spoken to some people who know the area and school and they said that the school is very pretty and a good atmosphere for learning the law. From what I understand, they are quite similar schools...for me, it mainly depended on where I wanted to practice and live, and I wanted to remain in AL. Otherwise, I feel relatively the same about the two schools...I don't think you could go wrong with either to be honest.
Hey, I am in a similar situation. I am on hold at Samford and in at jones with $$. I really liked Jones on my visit, but am waiting until I get word from Samford before I definitely decide. If Jones were the only AL school you got it, is that where you would be matriculating?
