Extra Curricular Information

I was involved with 3 organizations on campus-- 1 serving the school/student government, 1 with a community service-type mission, and model UN, for which i was /am VP. Nothing spectacular though, and besides being a VICE president, nothing that screams leadership.

Several internships-- most notably 1 at an office that does defense work for individuals with low income, and 1 at a county prosecutor's office. Again though, nothing spectacular.

Additional info & updates

**Scholarship amounts are for all 3 years.**

1/21- In at Camden!!!! I'm really excited about this... on paper it's one of my top choices. I've heard some iffy things about the area, so obviously I will visit before I make any decisions. I really like that the school has a summer-start program, which lightens the load during the first semester. Not so sure if that's good or bad-- since I wouldn't have much of a summer break, but it's definitely something else I will look into. Also, I'm kind of interested prosecution work, so being able to go to a public school with a scholarship ($10k first year, 8k/yr after that contingent on my GPA ) would definitely give me some breathing space.. need to look into getting in-state tuition too. All in all though, I am SO HAPPY. :)

2/5- Money at Penn State (Carlisle). This is the highest ranked school that has given me money so far (and in my opinion a very generous offer). Definitely need to check out the area. I'm not so sure about Penn State's employment prospects though. It seems like PA's 2 major markets are already covered by either higher ranked or similarly ranked schools. I'm not really knowledgeable about this though. The school/campus looks GREAT as do the educational opportunities, but obviously I am only looking at the shiny admissions pamphlets. Decisions, decisions.

2/21- Case is looking like my top choice.

tortguy never wrote on my wall even though i was accepted to buffalo. =[

Hi, our stats are almost identical. Just got my acceptance email to DU today (my top choice!). It didn't say a word about scholarships, though. Just curious, how/when did they notify you of your scholarship? I'm a little nervous!

Hi there! Thanks so much! Congrats on your cycle as well, it looks like we have similar schools/offers. I'm really happy with how things are going. I still have a few schools to hear back from, but as of right now Case, OSU, Arizona and Penn State are at the top. Decisions, decisions. I didn't write anything special for the Case scholarship, but I have several internships and service trips on my resume that would fall under a "human rights" category, as well as a personal statement about advocacy and education. I was a bit surprised by a scholarship with a title as well, but I'm assuming my application and experience fit with what they were looking for. How about you? What are your top choices?
