I'm really nervous about the whole thing, but really hoping for Florida Coastal - I know I'm a long shot at others but hopeful as well. Good luck to everybody on their applications!

12-29-07: Finally have everything finished. Sit and wait.... Happy New Year!

12-30-07: Updated "Choice" numbers with percentile chance for acceptance, based on ChiaShu.com

1-4-08: Accepted at Florida Coastal, $36,000 over 3 years (so $12,000/year)! Hooray, I'm going to law school!

1-10-08: Accepted at Ave Maria, $81,000 over 3 years (so $27,000/year)! It wasn't my first choice, but looks like a decent school (thus why I applied in the first place), and the scholarship amount is definitely going to help their consideration!!!!! I just made in scholarship what I have made in my first 3.5 years teaching.... scary!

1-19-08: Toured FCSL - great school, area. Maybe more details later. Recieved my Miami deferral, but honestly, after the visit today, don't care. Looks like FCSL will win out (yes, despite the larger sum from Ave Maria) but we'll see!

2-14-08: Happy Valentines Day! I'm feeling the love!!! Rejected at Florida and Deferred at FIU. Its ok.... I'm still going to law school, do dah, do dah!

3-28-08: In at Miami, but probably heading to FCSL - scholarship and family trump rank anyday. I'm also able to say I am turning down Ave Maria, mainly due to all the drama they have going (re: avewatch.com) and their declining reputation. Now I'm only yet to hear from WFU - they have until Monday before I make my final decision!

Congrats on FCSL. Also thanks for the advice. I emailed them regarding my application status and a possible visit. They said I should look for a decision by end of Feb at the latest. So I still have some waiting to do.
