Additional info & updates

12.08 accepted to penn state and suffolk, still waiting on the rest

january- visited quinnipiac, uconn, bu, suffolk, and cornell

1.12.09 35 k renewable scholarship at suffolk

1.14.09 georgetown decision made (viewed on website status checker) but not yet received in mail

1.23.09 received letter from bu, booo. as for boston, suffolk was much nicer, but much lower ranked. bu was notably ugly.

1.24 regular white envelope, denied from georgetown.
-45 k total scholarship awarded at penn state.

1.25 visited penn state, bad impression. they have a strange dual campus system with technology that allows a professor in carlisle to teach to main campus students through the tv. vice versa too. not my style.

1.29 rejected at berkeley via status checker

2.4 letter arrives marked 1.29 from uconn. feels good to get in a t1, gives me hope for the others.

2.7 letter arrives from boulder market 2.3. no go.

congrats on your acceptances, especially from Suffolk! Did you contact admissions first for that package, or did you just recieve a letter separately?

Top choice is BC, becuase I have family in the area. I would be psyched if I got into Wake, though. At this point I just want to be accepted somewhere...

Thanks! Hey, sorry it took so long to respond, I just noticed your comment. Yes WFU did email me last Wednesday and later told me over the phone that I had been accepted. I didn't contact them at all after sending in my application, no LOCI and I didn't visit. I am planning on attending at the moment, but I still want to see how everything else plays out. Good luck to you!

Hi, I actually never followed up on the Wake waitlist, but best of luck on getting off of it.
