01/28: Got a large thin white envelope from Santa Clara. First acceptance! I am very happy and relieved. I am going to law school =)

02/11: Rejected at Berkeley =(. Found out through the online status check.

02/17: Rejected at Minnesota through snail mail. Let the carnage begin!

02/25: Waitlisted at GW through snail mail. Nice surprise, since I figured I had no chance at the Top 25.

02/26: Waitlisted at Hastings. Got an email, kind of bummed, since this was my most realistic chance of staying in the bay area. Well, there is still hope!

03/02: Waitlisted at Notre Dame! I cannot imagine moving to Indiana but its nice to still be in the race. I will withdraw if I get into a Top 25 school. Found out through snail mail, why can't they email??

03/02: Dinged at Boston University as expected. I am just glad I have some promising waitlists.

03/03: Eventful week already! Got into Boston College through snail mail. Got a proper admission package with viewbook and catalog and all. Boston is definitely a city I am considering. Woo hooo!

03/06: Waitlisted at Washington & Lee via snail mail. I think it is going to be a loooong summer.

03/11: Just got dinged at UVA via a short but nice email. Apparently they have gotten more applications than ever this year and around 30 non-resident applications for each non-resident seat. Tough odds for me.

I am 2-4-4 so far. Much better than I expected. Now only if I can get lucky at one of the Top 25 schools....

03/12: Emory says no. It would have been GREAT to go back to Atlanta for 3 more years. SIGH =(

03/13: Dinged at Georgetown. Worst week in the cycle so far.

03/20: Quiet week so far until I got the Columbia rejection letter as expected. Duke and Penn to follow in a couple of days. I think now it all hinges on the Northwestern decision.

03/23: Worst day ever in the cycle. My Northwestern hopes are dashed in the morning. Duke also kicked the man while he was down.

03/25: Waitlisted at American. I hope GW works out somehow.

03/26: Penn finally says no. I am looking forward to Boston at this point.

03/30: Got my financial aid package from BC. I was happy with the $15K per year in grants.

04/01: Stanford rejection letter came today. Funny I got an acceptance letter from Stanford on the same day in 2003 for my graduate school admissions.

04/01: Online status checker at UT shows a waitlist offer sent today! Really excited about it. Finally some good news. I dont mind waiting now. UT or GW or BC... I think I would be happy at either of those 3 places.

04/01: Withdrew from Santa Clara. So long bay area, I will be back in 3 years!

04/03: Sent in my deposit to BC. Going to BC (for now :))

04/07: Its not going to be Harvard either as expected. Rejected via email.

04/12: Wrote a LOCI to Texas and GW and withdrew from the other 4 waitlists.

04/20: University of Chicago and USC are out. I am still looking for more scholarships I can apply to.

05/01: i did not like NYU anyway when I visited.
