Stanford

While my index is probably high enough for at least a waitlist, my LSAT is significantly better than my GPA. Based on Stanford's data this year it seems like they are looking for students with very high GPAs, and lumping all LSATs from 170-180 in the same group. I fell within the LSAT range they are looking for, but I don't have the 3.75+ that they want. Or maybe my PS sucked. Whatever.

In the statement i included a paragraph about how how I have very high expectations for myself. I think if you read between the lines it might lead adcoms to believe that I will go to the highest ranked school I can. I really don't know if that hurt me at all, but I think it might have.

Chicago or Columbia?

Which do you think you'll decide on? I'm making the same decision.
