1/12/07: Got an email from Toby Stock about an interview next week.

1/16/07: Received emails today from Duke and OSU that decisions had been made on my applications and that I'd be receiving answers via snail-mail soon. Also, complete at Yale (email) and GULC (via status checker).

1/17/07: Interview with Toby Stock -- short and sweet.

1/19/07: Duke acceptance in the mail.

1/22/07: Call from Toby Stock. In at Harvard! Also received OSU acceptance letter in the mail.

1/25/07: Email from Dean Z of Michigan with an invitation to apply for the Darrow.

1/26/07: The fabled Harvard Binder finally arrives...kind of large, kind of impressive, kind of cost $8.10 to ship.

1/29/07: Phone call from Jason Trujillo at UVa. In, with Dean's Scholarship. Also, finally received the Michigan packet.

2/03/07: Received mailing from OSU indicating College of Law award.

2/19/07: Received a wake-up call from admissions at Penn, in and on a holiday no less.

2/20/07: Got a call from Dean Z at Michigan for a Darrow. Pretty exciting.

2/22/07: In at Georgetown via regular mail.

3/01/07: Received email invite for Penn Levy application.

3/08/07: Got the phone call from Yale Thursday evening.

3/15/07: Decided to pare some of the schools down. Withdrew from OSU, Duke and GULC.

3/20/07: Decided to turn in the Levy essay...a few days late, but oh well.

3/27/07: Got the waitlist letter from Chicago. Promptly withdrew.

4/04/07: Email from Penn. Got the Levy Scholarship. Withdrew from UVa.

4/23/07: Had to respond on the Levy Scholarship. Tough decision, but withdrew from Penn and Michigan.

4/27/07: Got an email requesting additional materials from HLS' financial aid department, and a few days before deposits are due, but three weeks after my file went complete. Without a financial aid package in hand, the decision to withdraw becomes easier.

Yale it is.
