well good luck with your december LSAT. I am retaking it in December as well. I'd like a solid number in the 160's to secure scholarships so I can leave the bluegrass state!
Thanks for the message. I go to school at EKU, so moving to Lexington will be a very easy transition. I would say with a 158 and that GPA you are fine. I have about the same GPA and a 156 and I got in after all : ) I was worried my LSAT was low, but they seem to weight GPA pretty heavily. I am probably going to attend UK...it is just way too expensive to leave given how cheap the tuition is. I have lived in KY my whole life, and I really have no plans to leave. I liked the open house as well, but their building is pretty dreary to say the least. I guess the reputation and career opportunities make up for an ugly building though. Have a good Thanksgiving yourself!
... rat! Haha, I'm watching you. Good luck on your cycle, just don't go to Tenn, I know this awful guy there.
Dude, the food sucks, haha. And you were spot on in regards to the parking pass.
how did the dec. LSAT go?
it\'s really really hard to explain but i just feel like i need to get away because i\'ve never lived anywhere else. born in new orleans, raised in mississippi, and college in alabama. because law school is so determinant of where you will ultimately work and live (if you have numbers like mine and likely won\'t get into a nationally renowned school) i feel as though staying in the south for law school will end in my being stuck here forever. as far as the atmosphere, people, etc go the south is WONDERFUL. the perception that southerners are friendly and hospitable is very accurate. i\'m a very progressive person though and have trouble with the conservatism people hold here, usually with no real thought put into WHY they are conservative. hard to explain. ok this is getting long but seeing your gpa and extracurriculars, if you are going to school in the south, go to one of the top ones! like vandy or uga !
