Additional info & updates

Anyone going to R-N. I am moving from CA there and know no one yet. I am 99.99% sure I am Rutgers destined.

Applications are out really late. I am thinking will get into Western, Whittier, GG. Want USF so I can stay in SF.
Will not get into: U of Colorado, ASU, UOP, Rutgers, Loyola, and maybe Syracuse.

*Attorney alumni called Syracuse and wrote a letter on his own for me. That should help a little.

02/26/06 - WL at Thomas Jefferson, they didn't even wait for my 2nd LSAT score. Nice

03/09/07 - Went to SD for vacation and made an appt with TJ to speak to someone and see the school. Spoke to the head of admissions for about half an hour. At the end of the meeting/interview told me that I was in with 30k!! Sweet!!! Law school is in the bag. Hopefully this the beginning of lots of good news to come.

03-21-07 - Holy $%#^!! I just got into Rutgers!! There goes about half the schools!! Notified via email. Packet in the mail. Holy #$%#!!

03-21-07 - In at California Western. Via small envelope.

03-24-07 - In at Western State. I knew this was coming. They kept sending me emails about health insurance and other information that I would not expect goes to every applicant.

Looking like Rutgers is it. Only schools to consider now are Loyola, U of Colorado, and ASU. I won't get into any of those.

Rutgers emailed me about establishing in state tuition. Puts my bill at 17k for the 2nd and 3rd year. Even sweeter.

- 04/16/07 - WL at Loyola! How the %^$*!!? I am starting to worry they have someone else's application. Throws a wrench into the Rutgers plan since I want to practice in California. Sending back to keep me on the WL.

04-16-07 - WL at Chapman. This isn't shocking. They seem to be WL everyone.

04-19-07 - In at USF. Via email

04-21-07 - In at Whittier small envelope

04-27-07 In at Syracuse

04-30-07 Rejection! It was coming.. ASU. Small envelope. Not at all shocking.

05-15-07 Rejected! Colorado. Who needs you. This was the most predictable decision to date.

05-05-07 UOP WL. eh not too worried about it

06-06-07 - in at GG. 40k. Nice package of info.

Now just down to Loyola, Rutgers, U of Colorado. This is totally unexpected.

* On a side note. I never ever received a thing from Thomas Jefferson after being told I was in, given a t- shirt and a flash drive.

** Still nothing from TJ. So ever loving odd.

How many MB? I wonder how many tuition dollars were spent on that flash drive.

Loyola

I got WL at Loyola too, but i think I'm gonna withdraw. I definitely think that Syracuse will accept you. When they do they'll send you a t-shirt... P.S. I grew up in Buffalo but have always been a huge 49ers fan... Joe montana= Best football player ever

Go East, young man . . .

I, too am from the west (CO). And I, too will probably be living alone on-campus the first year. My seriouso and I have been living together for 5 years, but she will most likely be doing a one-year program at Tufts (Animals and Public Policy). Maybe we should think about a student group for Western-state transplants :) We could set up a room with artificial western sunlight and talk about microclimates. Congratulations, again!

See you in Newark!

WL + Chapman

Chapman seems to have the longest waitlist. They also seem to be in denial of their T4 status. They are idiots for rejecting you with your LSAT. Go to Rutgers. You can get to NY in under 30 minutes, and there are lots of places and things to do. Congratulations on your cycle.

I knew that you'd get in at Syracuse. Did they send you a t-shirt? Congrats on making your decision to go to Rutgers. Good Luck!
