They got my name and scores from LSAC (I assume) and they e-mailed the offer to me. They offered $9k/year in merit scholarships, then the offer went up to $12k/year after I applied. I probably won't attend Charlotte, however. It is still an expensive and risky proposition, even with the scholarship, considering the fact that I have no ties whatsoever to Charlotte and the fact that the school is not yet ABA accredited. At this point, it appears as though I will attend either FIU (first choice) or Barry. Barry offered me close to what Charlotte did, plus Barry is already accredited. Add to that the fact that I live in the Orlando area and already have established some roots here and Barry simply makes more sense. To what other schools are you applying?
