Being waitlisted at Wake has me a little concerned as they are supposed to be one of the more military friendly schools.

03/11: UW Status changed to "Decision," letter in the mail.

03/18: UW rejection letter, starting to wonder if there is something wrong with my applications

04/09: Received letter from Maryland placing me on the preferred waitlist almost explicitly stating that if I wish to attend I can, I just have to contact them very soon. Will withdraw soon as I have recently gotten a very good job at a corporate firm and have been encouraged by my boss to take a year off to improve my LSAT score as well as use the work experience on future applications.

04/14: Waitlisted at UNC via email, sucks but it looks like I'm gonna have to take a year off

07/28: Accepted off the Waitlist at UNC via telephone call. Movin on up in the world.

I'm not sure either, I was actually expecting a waitlist just from seeing the other waitlist's numbers on this website. Perhaps just bad luck with who read my application.
