This waiting game is driving me nuts!

I'm currently an Americorps VISTA working with Legal Services.

Have an MA in International Studies.

Would really like to stay in the Rocky Mountain West or Pacific Northwest (can you tell?)

I was not pleased with my LSAT scores, I know I could have done better but I was testing myself using a timer, not realizing that they no longer allow digital timers (even if they are silent). In any case, my score is still good enough to get me into decent schools so I don't want to risk a re-take.

I had a hell of a time with my GPA, I graduated with a cumulative of 3.78, but I took a couple of math courses back when I was 15 at the local community college for fun, really. Looking back I don't know why I took them for credit since those courses never contributed to my undergraduate degree, but of course LSAC averaged them in and it dragged my GPA down to a 3.65.

Hey Silke- CONGRATS on deciding to attend DU!! The CU/DU decision stressed me out for a while, but I'm excited for Denver; hopefully you are as well! Do you know what are of law you'd like to go into? International law? Or? See you around this August!

Congrats!

Hey, that's awesome that I'll have a fellow Terp to hang out with in Denver. Its you and apparently some sort of distant cousin outside of the city in terms of who I'll know... What's it like doing VISTA in Montana? I have a sitemate here who did Americorps in Austin, but I imagine its a completely different experience for you. Anyway, CONGRATS and I'll buy the first round this Fall.
