Extra Curricular Information

I worked as an actor in New York for 2 years and then decided to go to the "other side." I actually played the role of Amy in the play TAPE(she is an assistant DA) and I really got into researching the role- so much so that I started studying for the LSAT, applied to schools, and am now teaching LSAT courses. . . very strange.

UCLA . . . ?

I am used to New York City winters so I definitely wouldn't mind spending the next 3 years in the sun on a beautiful campus at UCLA - that school seems to have the happiest and most vibrant students and faculty as well.

Thats a great little story you shared :) I'm so impressed to see such a selection of schools, yet you really want to go to my school. As one who has grown up in LA my whole life, I'm ready for a change. I don't think I'm going to that Pepperdine thing 'cause I really don't plan on going. Malibu is sooooo nice. Tempting....but no. Regarding USC, yeah I did the early decision and am waiting for a decision. The two weeks were up last wed, so I'll give them a couple more days since I'm sure they just promise to "decide" in two weeks. God knows when they send their mail out! So why no Georgetown or Stanford...Columbia...??

HOORAY LA!

Yeah I still go to UCLA...just got out of class actually. This is funny, I'm dyin to go to NYC and ur shootin for LA (though DC would be nice). As far as USC vs. UCLA goes, I probably would pick that school down the hill (shhhhh!!) for the sole reason that if I went to UCLA Law, I would be hanging out at the same coffee houses (Kerckoff or LuValle) and seeing the same people. I would still feel like an undergrad & I think law school is all about change. As far as curriculum, the schools are nearly equivalent. They're both great! (But Westwood/Bel Air vs. South Central???? u decide...hehe). So u also did the invitation-only USC early decision? When was your app complete? I'm pretty sure now that Georgetown blows away both of them...but still considering. Feel free to email me, it appears we can help each other out without jamming up the msg board.

congrats
