Look at me! I'm $-Money!

1/16/2009
-In at NYU and Georgetown. NYU spent $0.88 to send me two sheets of paper (GT squeezed three sheets in a $0.42 envelope). Is this what I paid a $75 application fee for? What does this say about how efficiently they'll spend the $40k/year to go to school there? Also, the letter was dated 1/6/09, which means it sat in their mailroom for like a week. Poor administrative performance NYU, tsk tsk.

2/2/2009
-Waitlisted at Columbia. At least, that's what I think they meant by putting me in their "Reserve Group". Second sheet in the small creme envelope explains that unlike a normal waitlist, I don't have a specific spot on a list, but rather, they're just gonna re-read my application at the end of May. More concisely, I'm not going to Columbia. Boo hoo.

2/5/2009
-In @ Northwestern. Email, which is free. Nice work Ndubs!

2/25/2009
-WL'd at Michigan. Email, gotta like that

2/27/2009
-Same deal at UVA.

4/4/2009
-Chicago puts my on the WL. Yay.

4/15/2009
-Waitlist at HLS. Was NOT expecting that.

Congrats on NYU and GULC. Are you still holding out hopes for Columbia/elsewhere? Sorry to ignore Harvard, but we all know how tough that is! Good luck with the rest of your cycle.

Congrats!
