Additional info & updates

1. Full time job as a Senior Software Developer in a Fortune 500 firm near downtown Dallas( and hence SMU and TWU are my only choices -Only part-time evening law school).

2. Got accepted to Texas Wesleyan University with a $20,000 per year ( $10,000 per semester) Dean's scholarship. Renewable after first year based on class rank.

3. Got accepted to SMU PT program.

4. The admissions offices at both SMU and TWU ARE JUST AWESOME. They answered my questions and emails very promptly whenever I had any questions. Attended the evening law school info sessions at both the schools. I was very impressed by both the schools.

5. Hard choice to make:( SMU has great reputation and has a strong program in International law and Corporate law which I am very interested in. Texas Wesleyan has given me a good scholarship. Leaning towards SMU at this point due to the reputation of the academic program.

**** 1/26/2006: Got my packet from SMU. It was good to see the official letter from the admissions office.

Congrats on both... my opinion is for SMU due to it's being so highly ranked and if you want to do intl law or corp law it is a great place to go. But you don't know me so my opinion doesn't REALLY matter. Congrats on the TWU scholarship too.
