Extra Curricular Information

A bunch of awesome softs, I'll explain after I find out where I get in! Hopefully they will be enough!

Additional info & updates

LSAT timing issue on December test, lost a lot of time. The LSAC is attaching a letter informing schools of the irregularity and how the timing issue impacted my score. Hope my softs, GPA, and LSAC letter can make up for the screw up. Wish me luck!

2/20 - Got the call and e-mail today from Drexel! Packet on the way! This gives me some confidence regarding other schools with scores out of my range! I still have some hope for W&M and Nova.... 2 for 2 so far!

2/23 - Waitlisted at New England School of Law, small envelope. Not a rejection, but figured this was more of a safety school. Drexel's numbers are much more selective. I think this will be a weird cycle, as some schools may be more receptive to the timing issue than others. Still no rejection, so I can't complain. So far, I would take Drexel out of the three... what does everyone else think?

3/10 - Rejected from Villanova, but that was kind of expected... huge reach! Bummer, but still hope for the other schools I guess. Waitlisted at Pace today too, but oh well. I agreed to stay on the waitlist because they have an awesome environmental program, and the school itself has a good reputation.

3/14 - Accepted to Franklin Pierce via e-mail.

3/21 - Rejected at North Eastern, only reason I applied was for the co-op, but Drexel has a co-op also. Just went to accepted students day and Loved the school, despite the newness.

3/23 - Rejected at W&M... This really hurt because I had an interview, and really liked the school. Knew my chances were slim... but still held out for hope. Waitlisted at Syracuse to top things off, so not the best of days.

I have the same LSAT score, but Drexel rejected me almost immediately! I know my undergrad GPA is not pretty at all, but my graduate GPA is similar as yours.. Oh, well, it was just not the one for me I guess. Congratulations on Drexel! I would just put down the deposit if I were you. haha.. Good luck with the rest of the cycle, though. =)

Congrats

Congrats on Drexel, I think I may be attending Drexel as well--I went there for undergrad so I am a bit biased-however according to the dean it is supposed to rank around tier 2 next year.

Hi! Sorry its taken me so long to get back to you, I forgot all about this. As an undergrad I enjoyed it, I think it was a combination of the school and the city. However, it has gained a wonderful reputation and I can honestly say I was proud to go there. I got scholarship money from every school besides drexel, however I am quite confident I will be attending. The accepted students day was a huge factor. They really have their things together, and have SO many companies, firms , ngos that have and are willing to work with students. So I think that is making up for the lack of alumni. Also, the whole thing that are three opp. for 1ls to raise their gpa is a plus as well. They said they are most likely going to rank in 10'. Hope this helps!
