congrats on drexel and cooley. we have similar numbers. im also waiting on villanova! good luck with the rest!
I'm leaning more and more towards Drexel. Can I ask you some questions since you went there for undergrad? I'd be new to the area (Philly) so I really want to meet new people. But I also read somewhere that Drexel Law has a relatively older student body (and I'd be starting law school at age 23). I would like to meet people my own age. And what's the South Asian population like at Drexel/Drexel Law? I was involved with dance teams/South Asian clubs etc in undergrad and would like to continue that. I just don't know if Drexel Law has a large South Asian population. But I'm really excited about their Health Law/co-op program!! I'd really appreciate it if you could give me any insight. Thanks!
I actually decided not to do the interview, just didn't have the time. But it didn't seem to really hurt my chances. Best of luck
Wishing you the best with your applications. I would encourage you to apply to the University at Buffalo Law School. Our new dean is fantastic and WE ARE ON THE MOVE..
As an undergrad at Drexel, how did you like the school? I went to the University of Delaware, so I am pretty familiar with Philly.. but I don't know much about the school and its reputation. I am confident the school will eventually be ranked high, but I am a little concerned about networking (due to the lack of alumni). When does the dean expect them to rank, in 10' or later? Haha, I doubt you know this stuff... but just trying to find out as much as I can. Co-op seems really cool btw. Good luck with the rest of your schools!!
Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I am planning in attending Drexel too! I don't know how I didn't see your profile until now because our numbers are so similar! See you this fall!
I am definitely hoping to go to that Phillies game! I read through that email kind of quickly so I don't remember what the other stuff was off the top of my head. What about you? I think it will be great to meet some other 1Ls before classes actually start and what better way that a Phillies game! I put my email address here so feel free to email me!
Hey. Actually, I'm writing to you from my internship at the law school center, where I've been the last 3-4 months, but will be leaving soon. I also work on the weekends, so I've been keeping busying, but not necessarily padding resumes. I plan to take some time "off" to apply, then (re)begin a job search for some months until (hopefully) law school next fall. No big big plans yet, may just wait tables (bc law school is expensive!!) and volunteer somewhere for a good while. How about you? What have you done since graduating, and plan to do until law school?
