I'm graduating undergrad a semester early this December and will be working full-time afterward.

My profile's GPA is now updated with my fall semester grades factored in. All decisions prior to 1/13/10 were based on my earlier GPA, 3.77 (degree 3.76).

11/30/09- Accepted at UCLA via phone call, and in at Duke via email.

12/3/09- IN AT BERKELEY!!!! Dean Tom called me this morning. Being flown out for ASW. SO EXCITED!!

12/7/09- In at NYU via snail mail! Also, decision rendered at Georgetown.

12/10/09- Received my acceptance letter from Georgetown. The handwritten note about my personal statement was a nice touch :)

12/21/09- Status checker at USC says "Decision Finalized." I'm assuming that's good news, but they only give decisions by mail and I won't be at my mailing address for 3 more weeks.

1/10/10- Returned to my mailing address to find the USC acceptance letter waiting for me.

1/12/10- WL email at Penn. Withdrew the next day. (Also got the hold email from Michigan that day.)

1/15/10- Held at Harvard. Way better than I was expecting, since I haven't had a JR1.

1/25/10- Packet from Columbia in the mail today-- I'm in!!

2/5/10- In at Chicago by phone call from the admissions dean!

2/26/10- WL email at Michigan :(

3/5/10- Finally got the WL email at Virginia too.

3/31/10- First rejection, from Stanford by mail. I think that I'm done with good news for the cycle now...

4/22/10- Harvard email ding. Cycle complete, waiting for Berkeley scholarship notification before I finalize my decision.

5/1/10- Officially attending Berkeley Law in the fall! It was a tougher decision than I'd anticipated, as Columbia is an amazing school, but in the end I went with my gut.

Looks like we're both getting what we wanted. :) Sad we didn't hang out before we left USC but if you go to Cal we will have to meet up!!

Thanks!!! I'm definitley leaning towards Berkeley. I absolutely love everything about the school and the surrounding area! I see Berkeley is your number one, I hope they offer you some $$ as well -- your great stats certainly make me think you are deserving of it!!!
