Additional info & updates

I got the complete email from NYU on 1/13. A week later I got an acceptance letter in the mail with the date 1/13 on it.

Decision dates are the dates on the letter or email.

By snail mail: NYU, Wisconsin

Penn: "Priority Held" until May 1. Will remain on hold list.

No correspondence from Georgetown. Complete notices from everywhere else.

Wisconsin comes in a small, white envelope. NYU has a big envelope.

Decided not to apply to Fordham, BU after recieving NYU acceptence.

Accepted GULC Fall 2006. Letter said that those of us in this position have priority when "spots open up for Fall 05"
UPDATE: Sent them an email expressing interest in Georgetown for Georgetown specific reasons, and was admitted for Fall 05 in letter dated March 30, 2005.

5k/yr at wisconsin-around half tuition since I'm in state. No GPA requirements, only need to stay a full time student in good standing

10k 1st yr/10k 2nd yr/5k 3rd yr scholarship from nyu. 10k 3rd yr if I do public interest 2L summer.

Michigan waitlist by email.

Admitted to Penn via phone call.

Chicago 'hold' letter requested that I send either an additional essay on one of three topics or an updated transcript. Declined to do so and was rejected about a month later.

You know, I just noticed that there is no one applying to the UW on LSN is above the line formed by our dots. That's pretty amusing.

Just out of curiosity...when did you receive your scholarship offer from Wisconsin?

I made those predictions a while ago. Revised Prediction would be: Columbia: waitlist Berkeley: rejected chicago: accepted, although they may be full by now michigan: waitlist penn: waitlist/rejected However, I survived the first wave of michigan waitlists. Lots of people with my numbers and approx my complete date were waitlisted, yet I was not. Others with my complete date who are still pending seem to have strong numbers for michigan, so I suspect my fate and theirs are the same. Either there will be another waitlist or we will be accepted together. Can't imagine mich outright rejects us, though this could be possible. Didn't do the optional michigan essays, although many people on the waitlist did.
