Congrats on UGA! I find it awesome we got in with sub 3.0s while the avg student has a 3.7 ... lol
Who knows! IU just made me a nice offer though, but i love UGA. You will probably get the same offer, seems everyone with our #s is getting it.
Honestly, I just didn't want to go to that region unless it was Georgetown. Congrats on getting UGA...your essay must've been great. I'm rooting for splitters like me and you.
Hey, sorry I did't get back to you sooner on reapplying. I'm most certainly glad I did it, but it depends on your situation. I retook the LSAT last Feb and improved by 4 points, but it hurt my chances that cycle because my app was reviewed so late. When I reapplyed, I submitted very early. I reused my previous PS with minor tweeks and updates. The only re-app school I got a response before withdrawing for Northwestern ED was UIUC, which went from a waitlist to an acceptance w/30k per year. That said, I had no acceptances so I can't speak to how a school would react if they accepted you one cycle and you reapplied the next. I would say you definitely need something new (improved LSAT, job experience, etc) to show the school why you wanted to reapply.
Thanks! And congrats to you as well! Have a favorite yet?
Looks like Emory has been forsaking us sub 3.0/167+ people in favor of 166/3.01.. what school are you looking at right now ?
UGA, IUb, and UMN. Emory WL me today as well. I dont think Emory is doing the right things and am kind of happy I dont have to choose between Emory and UGA. Are you going to IUb Spring Law Day ? I really wanted to go but already visited and felt I had to give UGA a chance.
good luck!! I'm glad I can be some kind of motivation :)
