Extra Curricular Information

Nothing too fancy . My GPA is below 3.0, but not by too much. Do not let a poor undergrad GPA resign you to less than what you want - take as much time as you need to study for the LSAT. It brought me from (maybe) barely getting into my local T3 at sticker to having multiple scholarships at T25 schools and ultimately got me into my #1 choice.

Additional info & updates

1/6 - Dec LSAT score: 167 - do work

3/27 - Cycle over! UGA, unless I really like Minnesota on my visit.

4/5 - Withdrawn from every school except UGA. Athens in the fall !

How do I feel about Wake and UGA?... Well... looking at the graph for Wake, it seems like 164 might be their cut off for acceptance regardless of GPA... but we'll see... and as for UGA... seems like a pretty good reach... but i refuse to give up hope haha

Congrats on the LSAT

haha... yeah... wait and wait and wait... i'm hoping my 3.55 gpa this last semester with 20 credits helps their decision since i wrote an addendum about my gpa

Thanks-Congrats to you as well! I was definitely excited to get that acceptance. Good look on the rest of your cycle, and who knows, maybe I'll see you in Athens come Fall?

Here's hoping I get the same love from IUB that you did. Congrats!!

I too got accepted to UGA and Alabama. Congrats on those. I am still waiting on FSU, your GPA is higher than mine, so I fear I may continue waiting. Congrats on your acceptances, and good luck with the rest of your cycle.

Yeah--I was just WL at Emory today, which was expected. Maybe you will fare better! To be honest, I'm completely undecided at this point. I have some WLs that would definitely change some things should they turn to Admits. Definitely more interested in IU because of the $$, though. What are you thinking?

What do you mean about Emory? I've heard similar rumblings from others but no specifics. I am going to Indiana this weekend, so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully it will bring some clarity one way or the other and make my decision a little easier.

Yeah, I think you are right. I was still surprised to not even get waitlisted. I would think they would at least give us the opportunity to write an loci. Congrats on all of your acceptances. Where do you want to go?

Congrats on UGA. I was just wondering your approach to the LSAT. I have similar undergrad numbers 2.84 (3.04). By the June 6th test date I will have put in about 4 months studying with a test prep class; I am considering waiting until Oct. Wondering what course of study you took in your approach to the LSAT.
