1/12/18 - FAMU - RECEIVED SEAT DEPOSIT!

1/19/18 - I had the worst time with Howard's admissions staff and office, ever since I placed in my application. I called for the last time yesterday 1/18, to verify my status checker and they stated that " I would have to wait another week or two before I would get a decision"... well that same day that I called after months of waiting my status updated to "Decision has been Rendered", there is no Decision available for me to see, but it says to check my email, and I have not gotten anything yet. I'm banking on it being a rejection, not based off of my application, but because of my having to contact them 3 times, via 2 different methods. This is all due to their constant error making on my file, as well as their messy admissions system.

1/22/18 - Howard finally sent me the REJECTION I was expecting via e-mail. I knew I was going to get rejected once I e-mailed them requesting a refund, due to the simple fact that they left my file as "incomplete" for almost a month, and they never would respond to me when I would ask for help. HAHA, but as soon as they read the words via e-mail "I want a refund" they contacted me back with a quickness. No hard feelings, because I lost interest in the school through my experience with the staff, and I knew they were not a fit for me, so on to the next step.

1/31/18 - Barry University has assigned me a Recruiter... not sure why, but she has informed me that if I have any questions about anything Barry, then she is my go-to. However, at this point having not heard anything yet from them, I wouldn't have any questions besides those based on my app status. She did say that I will receive a decision by this Friday, 2/2/18.

2/2/18 - Barry - ACCEPTED via text message from Dean, and to verify checked Status Checker.

2/8/18 - Barry - Received my acceptance e-mail, and that offered a $6,000 non-renewable grant. Read through the details more and it is really $3,000 divided between both Fall 2018 and Spring 2019 semesters.

2/8/18 - Texas Southern - Via Status Checker it states "Decision Sent via Mail", nothing else is written on the checker.

2/9/18 - Texas Southern - ACCEPTED via e-mail from Director of Admissions.

2/11/18 - Pace - WAITLISTED via e-mail. They asked me to send an e-mail to briefly explain why they are a good match for me.

My status tracker from howard says Decision has been Rendered also. A friend of mine that works admission explained to me that they release the decisions in batches so we wont know what that decision is until they are prepared to release a mass of decisions at once :/ im hating this waiting game! But congrats on your acceptance to Famu!!

I was rejected today as well :/ I plan on applying to FAMU Law this week though so let us know which school you decide on in the end....We might end up being classmates :)

Aww, man! Sorry to hear that. I hope you get into FAMU! They got back to me pretty quickly, and they have been very fast with sending out and processing any information that I send to them. I am thinking about heading there for sure. I am still waiting to hear back from 3 more schools, but so far that is my go to school. Haha, we actually might end up being classmates.

I just recieved a call from office of admissions from Barry saying my application is in review and I should recieve a decision shortly and I set up a meeting with admissions and then they will walk me over to finacial aid after. So im hoping that that call was a potential good news . Im not sure if they did that with every applicant

Did you hear anything yet? I find that when the assign you with a "recruiter" that means that you more than likely have been admitted.

No I haven't heard anything yet . im going to the school tomorrow to talk to admissions and financial aid. They just said that they were calling to let me know my application was in review and i should hear something within a few days if I wanted to come in and talk to admissions they would walk me over to financial aid. So i am going and hoping for the best. I thought it was weird that they called to let me know when the status checker already says that my application in in review. It was just a young lady I believe that works in the admissions office that called her name is Kayla I believe.
