Yes, it was a very nice letter. It basically said that there were a number of applicants with similar credentials as myself, and they were assessing the interest level of everyone in that group, so they would not issue an acceptance basically unless I told them I was still interested in attending. It was strange, but I have a friend who goes to Fordham and she said they get so many applicant's for so few spots, they sort of need to use that kind of a process. I am not going to attend Fordham, so I'm going to go ahead and withdraw. I figure that will open a spot for someone else :)
Hey Matt- I went ahead and withdrew my application from Fordham. I also sent them a bottle of wine and a cheese tray with a nice card that said, "From: Matt" You should be accepted any day now :) Just kidding....
I don't understand Fordham's "Pending". I got the same thing. How is this different from Waitlisted?
We're tied! And yes...I agree, waitlists make me want to throw up. Aren't you a bit surprised about W&M? I feel as if oru numbers are right within range!
i feel ya on that waitlist bullshit... fuck this whole process. i wish they werent so damn indecisive. i know it makes me not even wanna go to these schools cause they treat people like shit. good luck bro. going to AU?
