1/13- Phone call from OSU. Go Buckeyes! I guess aid will be released in Feb.

2/9 - Small letter from Notre Dame about some Indiana scholarship. Grr...almost had a heart attack.

2/10 - Had my Northwestern interview. Went as well as can be expected. Hopefully I should go complete soon now that my interview is in.

2/17 - WOW! In at Notre Dame w/ $ and a nice package from OSU

2/25 - Michigan oh Michigan, why must you waitlist me? Now you will have to put up with my constant nagging and letters. Tough love.

3/02 - Sent in my Michigan LOCI and will hope for the best. I do not think they start reviewing waitlist until April.

3/11 - Waitlist at UVA. It seems like they are waitlisting everyone above their medians.

3/21- Accepted at Vandy via a large priority mail box with a bunch of goodies inside. No word about $$

3/23 - Got a nice call from Notre Dame informing me that they just added 5K a year to my package!

3/25- "Held" at NU

3/30 - Withdrew from OSU today.

4/14- Visited Notre Dame and was not very impressed with the general atmosphere of the school. It just didn't sit well with me, although, I must say, the new building looks great.

4/20- Withdrew from Notre Dame

4/23 - Vandy steps it up with the $$

4/24- WL at NU...What more do you want from me NU? I wrote your essay, interviewed on campus, visited campus, wrote you a flattering LOCI, and I am even working!!

4/30 - Acceptance call from UMN. Sent updated Resume to Michigan.

5/3 - UMN has no more money left. Withdrew

5/11- Put on Reserve at Cornell. WTF!

5/11- AHH IN OFF OF NU WL!

5/18 - Withdrew from Vandy

5/18 - In at Chicago via phone call. It all came together at the end.

5/22- 42K from Chicago. Sent in my seat deposit.

6/18 - Michigan contacted me to let me know that they are still interested and wanted to know if I was still willing to accept. To little to late UM!

I was definitely pleased with the turnaround time. With your new stats if you express interest in NU I'm sure you'll get in. Michigan didn't wait for me either.
