03-19
Received small white envelope from NYU today. Rejection. They were very nice though. 21 more to go.

That would be sweet... ;)

thanks!

I'm glad you find some hope in my acceptances. My whole point in putting my numbers up on here is to show others with similar credentials that it's possible to get into a great law school without being the "perfect" applicant!

Good Luck!

Anyway in which I can inspire others is truly my pleasure....... As far as the apps go, i knoe I was going to apply to alot of schools so I just saved up for the year so it wasn't as painful as you'd might think......My theory is you can't win the game unless you play the game right?? Your GPA is insane, good for you (although i can't imagine you being only 49 with a 4.01..... i'd hate to see who beat you out and what there gpa was).... But ur gpa is crazy! That alone should open alot of doors! Best of luck and keep me updated......

I admire your profile tpako. As you see in my case, I too had the LSAT obstacle of a 142 to stumble over. But keep hope. The problem in your cycle is that you applied late in the game (Feb/March). If you apply in Sept/Oct that definitely has an impact on your chances. But don't give up. You will succeed if you persevere just as I did. Cheers.

STILL WAITING...
Thursday, January 17 2008 at 07:00 PM

Wow, I never thought I would be waiting this long for an answer, but here we are. I know you will get some positive news soon. Your scores are great and you have some waits at some fantastic schools. Its been really quiet on my end. Hang in there. Crissy :)

wrt posting real data
Wednesday, March 05 2008 at 07:00 PM

It\'s fairly easy for people to figure out who you are by looking at your numbers, dates, and other personal info. So, to avoid the admissions office to know exactly which schools you\'ve applied to and also tying your data to a forum username (on LSD or TLS), people post slightly \"fudged\" numbers -- usually still about the same \"index,\" but rounded up or down a bit.

MIRACLES
Thursday, January 17 2008 at 07:00 PM

Hey, thanks for the comments. Yeah, its amazing what a little hard work and faith can do, right? I just read the previous post about keeping info private. The LSAC issues reports to ALL law schools indicating which students have multiple appications, acceptances and offers. So they know exactly who applied where, and everything else. I posted my real info because with my LSAT score, schools aren\'t exactly beating down my door! LOL Keep in touch!
