I applied to Akron and before they even received all of my LORs from LSAC I was denied, don't sweat it, they seem to have an automatic deny policy!

I love your attitude!

It takes a lot of strength of character to do what we're doing. Many people wouldn't understand why we'd take on such risk but there's only one way to find out, right? We're not just a statistic; we have a diversity of soft factors that make a case. That case has to be presented in order to know how to strengthen it. Keep your spirits up and your will strong, and you will achieve! Let me know what area of grad school you're going for; I have a wealth of information to share from a dual degreer perspective :-)

Hey! Yeah mine was a big lame 148. :( I totally agree with that quote you have about the LSAT though! I don't think anyone should be shut out just because of one stupid test. Especially since you and I have good GPAs!! Good luck with all your applications! I'm sure you will be getting in to a bunch of schools and then we can celebrate by showing everyone that success is not measured by a four hour test.

Thank you so much for your encouraging words! It's really frustrating and disappointing to have people using this site try to belittle others. Anyways, I have faith that God will put you at the right law school, but He'll do it in HIS TIME, not ours. We have to be patient, but God's ALWAYS right on time! I'm praying for ya! It's not over until you say it is over. There are other schools and there are also other cycles. Stay strong and keep the faith. You will receive acceptances.

Yeah I also got my applications completed in late feb and early march and it has made the cycle stressful. But believe in miracles and if not this year there is always next year and cleo and all that. Good luck hun.

I would highly suggest that you do not go to Ave Maria. Unless you plan to practice law in Florida, then Ave is okay. The reputation is awful, and the faculty are horrific.

I would choose Maine over Ave Maria. You have a great chance at Maine. Keep your head up! I wish you the best of luck in the process.

Hey Crissy, I wish I could call it an acceptance but I just don't have the money to go to Michigan right now. I wish these schools would stop focusing on numbers and focus on the entire application. They said I needed a 143 and then I might have been accepted. I know that I will get in because this is what I really want as do you. I feel that it will happen for the both of us. Just stay positive.

Thanks for the comment. Yeah some people are jerks and need to leave their negative comments to themselves. But there is always people out there who will try to bring you down.

Have you considered sitting out a year and applying next year? Your GPA is impressive and a large number of your rejections could easily be acceptances. Not being complete till March and April will definately affect the outcome of your cycle and you risk selling yourself short! Seems like you deserve better.

There's only a 40% correlation between how a one does in law school and their LSAT/GPA. It's the best standard law schools can use, but unfortunately, it leaves a great number of skilled applicants who will be amazingly lawyer out in the cold. Keep your head up and you shall perserve. By applying so late a lot of your application results could be the result of the time you applied, not the quality of your application.

Always have faith and be positive. I found this to be the most effective advice that I received during this process. Continue to work hard while you are waiting.

Sorry to see that your cycle is not going well. Have your considered retaking the LSAT? I would definitely consider doing so... also, check out Testmasters and Powerscore test prep courses. I think they are pretty good. Good Luck. jaxmommy

Hey there, u should be proud of yourself, and commended for the determination and resiliency uve shown in this cycle. You have taken a beating here the past few months, but you continue to rise up and resume your pursuit. But you have nothing to worry about though, there is a ray of light for you at the end of the tunnel. Including your waitlists, it looks you have about 8 schools remaining on your list. With the exception of Loyola-Chicago, and maybe Quinnipiac, you should have a great shot at any one of those remaining schools. Just keep your head up, and stay patient. Good news is sure to come soon. I wish you the best of luck, and congrats on all your accomplishments so far.
