12/9/06 - All applications except for Yale have been sent off!

12/20/06 - E-mail from Duke saying that a decision is in the mail, the day after I go complete.

12/28/06 - Got in to Duke, great way to start the cycle.

1/16/07 - Georgetown status check has changed from "Complete" to "Decision."

1/16/07 - Checked my mail tonight and found a beautiful manila envelope from NYU. Hadn't even been given complete notice so this was a shock.

1/19/07 - E-Mail timestamped at 10:10 PM alerting me that my status at Virginia has changed. A decision is in the mail.

1/20/07 - Parents called me to tell me that my Georgetown acceptance was sent to them.

1/22/07 - Letter sized envelope from UVA informing me that I am accepted.

1/25/07 - Status at Michigan has changed to Decision.

1/29/07 - Acceptance at Michigan! Note from the Dean saying my PS was "compelling and lucid."

1/29/07 - Finally complete at Northwestern.

2/1/07 - Yale application finally sent off.

2/5/07 - Found out through the UT website that I have been admitted. No mail for several days because someone lost our only mail key and its going to take several days to change the lock.

2/8/07 - In at Penn! Phone call from Dean Post at around 3:45 Texas time. Said that they're sending me a big package-o'-stuff in the mail next week!

2/16/07 - Held at Harvard by e-mail.

2/16/07 - Held at Northwestern by Status Check.

2/16/07 - Got a $15,000 scholarship offer from UT in the mail. Also got Penn big package-o'-stuff and it is truly impressive. A glut of information.

2/19/07 - Withdrew from Northwestern.

2/26/07 - Waitlisted at Columbia.

2/28/07 - Held at Chicago.

3/2/07 - Withdrew from Duke, Georgetown, and Michigan.

3/16/07 - Email notification about Dean's Scholarship at Penn. This makes my decision much more interesting.

3/18/07 - Withdrew from Columbia and Virginia.

3/31/07 - Rejection from Yale.

4/9/07 - Another scholarship offer from UT, $21,000 over three years.

4/11/07 - Withdrew from UT.

4/17/07 - Withdrew from NYU and Chicago. Going to Penn!

4/23/07 - Rejection from Harvard as expected.

4/23/07 - Sent in deposit to Penn, so it's official.

5/2/07 - Finally rejected from Stanford, so my cycle is officially over!

You are basically my twin in every way possible - same lsat, same gpa, same school, and even the same two majors. I went complete a few weeks before you and still have not heard a thing from Harvard. I'm somewhat confused.

for some reason i assumed we went to the same school, but perhaps we don't... but at least both TX public schools.
