It's a good school, especially if you want to work in the Richmond/DC area. There's plenty of opportunities for grads at big law firms and in the public sector. I work at a federal prosecutor's office and there's about 4 or 5 UR grads there. Richmond isn't the greatest city in the world. But the west end, where UofR is located, is a very nice area. Plus, it's a 1 hour drive to the mountains, 2 hrs to the beach, and 2 hrs to DC. There's probably nothing you're looking for that you can't find.

Congrats on OU. I got a call regarding scholarships today. They said they would be making decisions within the next few days, so we should hear much sooner than in a few weeks. Which is awesome.

Congrats on OU. Got a letter for the merit scholarship "discount" this week, hopefully there are some actual scholarships forthcoming. Basically the one I got was an in-state waiver. Nice to have, but would be nicer to have some more money come with it!

I am becoming more of a fan every time I talk to someone there, and I visited on the Tues. before Thanksgiving, and the tour was pretty convincing. My GPA is low because I was a stupid kid, so my options are somewhat limited, but I really have just a few on my short list, and OU was already there. I really do like the program, especially the size and the facilities. Of course you are in Norman, so you probably already like it for those reasons, I would guess.

Hey thanks man! Congrats on your cycle as well! As far as OU goes--I wish they offered me more scholarships! I got like 4K a year taken off at OU, where as Baylor and Tulsa I have substantially it's not looking good for OU! But that's why I applied to many schools. congrats on George Mason! What do you think about OU??

Sorry that I never got back to you, I sent in my deposit the other day, so I am heading to OU, and it looks like you will be too, congrats! The funny thing is, I saw your email address on my comment section, and thought you name looked familiar, so I facebooked it. Well, as familiar as it looked, I have never met you, but we do have a friend in common, Ted English. Anyway, I looke forward to meeting you.
