Additional info & updates

1/3: So for the results are encouraging. Not great, but encouraging. Fall grades came back and should give me a slight bump. New LSAC reports out to schools before February. Still praying...

1/21: Trimmed the list and tossed out some(very soft) rankings. Fingers crossed for some more results and some $$ from places I'm in.

1/30: First rejection of the cycle from UCB. Kinda stings, but not gonna get discouraged. Gotta keep the faith!

2/3: starting to get really nervous. I know that no word is better than a rejection, and I'm ready to ride the pine till August if it means a shot at HSC, but still... nerve wracking.

Have to keep the faith though.

2/21: In at Columbia! Couldn't be more excited/shocked!

2/22: Held at Harvard. All glory to God on this one, because it could have been a rejection. Still holding out hope, I just have to wait longer.

3/1: Wait-listed at UPENN. No money coming my way from them anyway, so I'm not sure how long that app will stay active.

4/5: In at Chicago late last month! Very exciting. Also just found out about the $10k/yr. I'll definitely ask for more ($30k/yr) when I get my last decision in.

Also wait listed at Harvard. I don't know how I feel about it, but I'm sure God will make a way if I'm meant to be there. Columbia and Chicago (and Stanford, fingers crossed) are great choices and I'm lucky to have them.

4/9: JS1!!!!!!!! So excited, I can't even explain it.

On another note, I'm going to withdraw from everywhere except HSCCN tomorrow. I hope those spots go to some people for whom the schools are their top choice. It's been a wild ride, but it's almost over!

4/22: Deposited at Columbia and got the acceptance call from SEO a couple hours later!

Very excited to be going to such a great school and being able to do an incredible program.

I'm going to keep my Harvard app open, however, and hope to get off the WL.
