Additional info & updates

4/20 - In the past 2 months I've been negotiating, visiting, and weighing priorities. All #s are post-negotiation (EVERYONE. NEGOTIATE. I went from 0 to 60k -literally- for some of these schools and from $$ to $$+30k for others. It's WORTH the time and the waiting.) Happy to be ending the cycle with matriculation.

2/15 - In at Cornell via call from Dean Ingram. Already planning a trip to Ithaca to visit.

2/10- In via status checker at Northwestern for a happy mid-day surprise!

1/30 - Informed by U of M that I did not qualify for merit aid. Really bummed, but not surprised. Hopefully other schools will feel differently.

1/22- Dinged at UPenn. Not surprised and not too down about it:)

1/21 - In at Fordham with decent scholarship.

1/14 - In at Georgetown!! That was my original "top goal" school, seconded by Michigan, so I feel like everything from here is just icing on the cake. :D

12/24- In to UMichigan's Summer Start! Best Christmas present ever!

12/18- Admitted to Vanderbilt! Woo!

12/18- Interviewed with Georgetown (went well!)

12/8- Invited to interview at Northwestern

12/4- Got a packet in the mail from William and Mary with a Scholarship offer of 33k/year

12/3- In via email to UNC Chapel Hill with merit scholarship offer. Man, today has been fantastic!

12/3- Invited to interview at Georgetown

12/3- Accepted via email to Boston College

12/3- Accepted via email to William and Mary

12/2- Into Duke via email! I'm floored! Hoping this means there's a chance for me at Cornell...

Mine came via email from Dean Z. The email says that a packet is coming my way in the mail, but I haven't gotten it yet because I'm traveling for the holidays. I'll be back home next Wednesday to finally get/read the extra info.

Congrats on Georgetown!! It was my original top as well (DC is a huge draw), but I feel like this cycle is going well for us so far...Tough decisions ahead, good luck!

Melekalikimaka - you're so right! Your cycle has been great as well, congrats! You're completely on point about "tough decisions" o.o How are you anticipating narrowing things down for yourself?
