Extra Curricular Information

In undergrad I had:

Several progressive/political group affiliations

Volunteered with political group

Leadership roles in two orgs, organized conferences/on committees

A year in performing group, with leadership role

4 yrs work study and deans list each semester

Notable abroad program/published research

Worked two jobs simultaneously for much of college, on top of undergrad

Additional info & updates

I have a good amount of legal work experience, including two years of paralegal work at a good NY firm (where I am now) on two separate trial teams. I've been lucky to get a lot of exposure to top lawyers and high-profile litigation clients

I also graduated a semester early from school, so I hope that is something they will take into account.

Was happy and lucky to receive some offers for recommendations from one from professor with whom I worked really closely, and two NY litigators from work experience

Feel free to leave comments. Want to know what people think about my chances...thanks and good luck!

When do you plan on taking the LSAT and what is your target score? if u hit about the mid 160s, I'd say you are good for about half the schools. With a solid Pstmt, excellent and detailed LORs plus solid extracurriculars..you would be competitive for the others...make sure you apply no later than the end of Jan though

Thanks

Thanks for that Warner... I am doing the Sept LSAT (used to be October!) and I am scoring low 170's now. I am still going down to high 160's every now and then though, so I am still practicing a lot. I am taking a review course. Thanks for the advice. What about you...is your profile on here?

Never mind...

At the moment I am planning on applying to my whole list, with early apps at anywhere that will take them (no ED). Thanks and good luck with your LSAT, we look like we are in very similar situations!
