Additional info & updates

4-13: Decided to go to Emory this fall.

1-30: Dates messed up for Chicago too! Complete 10-23, Decision 1-29. I am amazed. Going to work on the supplemental documents. I didn't think I was still going to be actively working on application documentation a solid 9 months after I started, but it must be done!

1-13: Dates are messed up for Kent--Complete on 11-24, Decision 1-8, packet received 1-13, full tuition first year, 25K after that, OR 20K/year no GPA restriction.

1-11: Accepted to Northern via phone call

1-10: Email from Kent that I will receive an acceptance packet soon.

1-02: Personal note on my Emory acceptance. I think that was worth the application fee.

12-24: First money: DePaul@ 20K/yr

12-12: First acceptance: Notre Dame! I am so thrilled!

10-21: I just sent the first batch of apps in, later than I had hoped, but still fairly early nonetheless. Still waiting on the fee waiver notification from DePaul, and planning to add to the personal statement for Berkley. Then the waiting starts in earnest. I'll have enough other distractions, though--I've been saying "when law school apps are in..." for the last two months!

Hey...

Thought I'd say hello since there's only a few of us with very similar numbers on LSN. Could you let me know when you hear from ND and/or Duke? :) Good luck.

Hi from another numbers twin! I'm actually from Chicago too, still in undergrad at Michigan now. Good luck in your cycle, I might be stalking your profile a bit - especially Berkeley! :) P.S. Why didn't you apply to Northwestern? They love work experience!!

I see you're in at ND! Congrats! Did you apply RD? If you speak to anyone in admissions, could you tell them to hurry up with my decision? Anyway, congrats again.

No, no. I was just surprised you heard back so early. Congratulations once again though! If ND doesn't WL me there is a very real possibility I will be there next fall. By the way, did you apply for the full scholarship program at Kent?

Kent

Probably not going to apply, actually. I've considered it here and there, but I don't like my odds for getting the full scholarship and I'm tired of apps and essays. We'll see how I feel after the New Year though. In other news... I'm in @ ND as of this morning!

congrats on Kent... still waiting for my decision. they are liars... I've called a few times and each time I get a totally different answer... it takes 6 weeks... no, 8 weeks... no 9 weeks. ugh!

Thanks

UVA called 3 hours after they received my ED form. So it doesn't look like we'll get the chance to hang out at the ND Open House. But keep in touch and let me know what you decide to do. Heck, even if you don't I'm going to be following your cycle.
