Hey, we have similar stats and both got accepted to Southwestern at the same time. I will be attending the brunch on the 24th and I hope to see you there. Did Southwestern also not give you a scholarship in the acceptance letter but tell you that one might come later on?

Congrats! I'm still waiting to hear from them, but have similar stats so maybe things look good. They're not a top choice of mine, but have a solid program and seem to be offering lots of money. I'm with you on Pepperdine, but it seems like most grad/prof schools affiliated with religious institutions stay pretty separate. Who knows though...

I really like the look of USD, but my choices were based on location as well as their programs... I'm set on NYC or LA really, because of my work with the music industry. But I might point Firefox over to the USD website in a second... maybe the application deadline hasn't passed...

Thanks for the USD comment. I want to get my acceptance soon but it doesn't look good this late in the cycle. Yet I doubt I would go even if accepted because of the high tuition. I'm getting mentally prepared to be at McGeorge even if I get other acceptances. Their school appeals to me so we'll see if more options will change my mind. Good luck to you, it's not over yet.

where i'm going to wind up yet. I put at deposit down at St. John's, but I'm still waiting to hear back from Loyola and for Wake Forest to make their final decision (I was deferred). Where do you plan on going?

congrats. p/t @ usd is nice. from what i hear, they make transferring into the f/t program the next year pretty easy. you have your entire life ahead of you to earn back the money you'll spend at usd with much better job prospects coming out of usd than cal-western. in the long run, i think usd is a much better choice. my two cents. congrats and good luck. join the usd facebook group if you're on there and ask some questions.
