ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

11/2/11: Received acceptance letter to Suffolk University via snail mail

11/11/11: And this completes my applications this cycle. Now, I just wait.

11/28/11: I just received my Michigan acceptance and since it was my #1 choice, I'm 99% sure that's where I'll be going.

12/09/11: In at Mason via phone call. 12/15/11: Received admissions package, no mention of $

12/15/11: In at Quinnipiac with 35k/year Dean's Scholarship. Previous years the max was 30k/year so it seems like I got the max. I love Quinnnipiac but not as much as I love Michigan.

12/21/11: In at UConn via e-mail

12/23/11: Full-Ride at UConn and that completes my cycle. Going to UConn.

1/13/12: Ouch, just got my first ding from Chicago and it kind of hurt.

1/14/12: In with full scholarship and $500 stipend at RWU.

1/23/12: Waitlisted at ND and immediately withdrew.

1/30/12: In at GGU with full renewable scholarship. 3.2 stipulation. CRAZY!

2/2/12: In at BU!

2/4/12: Reserved at Columbia (Waitlisted) and withdrew. Truth of the matter is May is much too late for me to change my mind. Also, I never thought I was getting in so Reserved is a win in that context in my mind.

2/8/12: Just received BU snail mail. 45k no stips

2/10/12: Waitlisted at Penn, withdrew.

Michigan it is! Cycle over.

Hope the cycle goes well--gotta love the accounting/JD gluttons for punishment.

My acceptance letter came WAY before my status checker was updated. I'm pretty sure my status checker didn't update until Nov. 21st-ish but my letter came 11/2. It was a small letter so perhaps you confused it with something else? It really doesn't say anything so I wouldn't even bother. If your status checker says your accepted they mentioned they'd be sending out more information later. And thank you, getting accepted at Mich this early in the cycle made this the easiest thing I've done in a long time. It definitely eased my nerves.

Thank you so much! I'm really really excited to be in AA next year. Unless one of these other schools throws a full scholly at me (which I doubt will happen) then that's where I will be.

@082490 George Mason called today. 703# I did not recognize, it was someone from the admissions office. Packet will be mailed Monday she said. @wchachar Thank you! I'm super excited. I'm pretty much sold on UMich and am 99% sure that's where I'm going. It's still good to get all the love though.

I visited this past weekend and they wouldn't even let me in to just quietly see the school for 10 minutes, tops. Considering I drove 7 hours to get there, you'd think they would allow me to, but I guess that just shows you how much they really care. The price makes this place ridiculous and clearly they don't really spend too much on the building itself. Anyway, I won't be applying there as much as I love DC. I saw that you also got a lot of money from Quinni (I got $30k/year) and I will have trouble turning it down I think. P.S., congrats on Michigan!!!

Exactly! Super happy to have Mich this early in the game, and I'm sure you're thrilled as well. I refuse to withdraw from UConn just in case my financial situation changes, but I sincerely doubt I'd go otherwise. Maybe I'll see you in AA :)

 • UConn... hopefully see you there!
 • Thursday, December 29 2011 at 03:48 PM

Congrats on the full ride at UConn man! That's incredible!!! I hope I get to join you there, but I still haven't heard back from them as of yet. I'm assuming I will soon in January. I will keep you posted. Again, congrats!!!

for sure taking $$$$ at UConn over UM? Must have ties to Connecticut!

- floridacoastalorbust
 • BU or BC
 • Wednesday, January 04 2012 at 05:01 PM

Gotta be BU--better money (BC didn't offer jack...surprising). That still leaves me with about a 120k payout...even with BU's NLJ placement, hefty. Seriously considering the free money at Denver...part time it's effectively free. What convinced you to do UConn for free over Mich?

- nickg1386
 • Saturday, January 07 2012 at 02:35 PM

For real. Mich is a great opportunity. Shoot me an email if you'd like--I'd love to hear your rationale for free vs. the high risk/reward (on a platform that is not the law school equivalent of facebook). Hope the holidays went well, and look forward to hearing from you!

Hunger is the principal people often lose the battle in a diet. the more you eat, The more your stomach stretches and therefore you hold more and more food making you gain more weight. Also the bigger you get the more your metabolism slows down making you gain even more weight. This pill helps curb your appetite and speeds up your metabolism which in turn burns more fat and carbs causing you to shed the weight. With a proper diet and prescription drugs the payout is weight loss podedsja. 2012 Red Meizitang
