Here we go again :) applying to all reach schools this year, but hey, praying I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Applied late last cycle (Feb) to only three schools. Got in at Columbia, Chicago-Kent, WL Harvard.

HARVARD IN THE FALL!!!!! :D

10/25/11 Submitted Yale app as soon as it opened today. They sent me a lovely letter last year though asking me to apply, here's hoping they take me now. All applications in, now I wait!

10/27/11 Received a fee waiver via email from Vanderbilt. decided to apply. Submitted today.

11/02/11 Phone interview with Vandy, amazing, made me very excited about the possibility of going to school there.

11/03/11 Complete email from UMich. Finally UR at NYU

11/04/11 Complete at Vanderbilt

11/05/11 Requested a financial need based waiver from Stanford.

11/16/11 Fee waiver from Stanford approved!! :) Sent application.

11/18/11 Finally received the Michigan status checker. SO glad to finally have this. One more to keep obssesively checking.

11/18/11 In at Suffolk via Status checker.

11/20/11 Called berkeley to find out why I wasn't UR yet, good thing too, turns out they were waiting on a dec lsat score from me, and im not registered to take the lsat this dec? so they've updated it, good thing, otherwise I would have been waiting for ages.

11/22/11 UR at berkely!!

11/23/11 In at vanderbilt via Status checker. Recieved big black box two days later :)

13/1/12 After hearing NOTHING from anywhere for almost a month, HELD today at Harvard. Was SO glad to get this email! This means I am NOT rejected! :)

Also got an email from Penn, waitlisted today 13/1/12

23/1/12 Rejected at Berkeley

1/2/12 Held at Northwestern. So tired of all these non-decisions. You've had my application for four months, just make a decision already.

2/10/12 Rejected at Yale. Post marked Feb 3rd. More than anything I'm just glad they didn't make me wait until April for this like all these other schools seem to be doing.

2/13/12 "Decision Letter Sent" at Stanford. Apparently this means a rejection, have yet to receive the letter :P

2/13/12 Rejected at Columbia. And I had JUST send them a LOCI last week too. This one stings a little since I got in last year, but oh well. Harvard just needs to take me now.

As of today, still waiting on: UCLA, NYU, Harvard, Michigan, Northwestern

6 Mar- Scholly from Vanderbilt today on my BIRTHDAY!! 35,000per year AND a deans leadership award of 5000

15-Mar - IN at UCLA. Was SO surprised to hear Dean Schwartz as at this point I was sure they'd forgotten about me!

15-Apr-12 Waitlisted at NYU.

Havent updated in a while!
Withdrawn from Penn, Michigan, vanderbilt and Suffolk. Still on the waitlist at NYU and on hold at Harvard at NU.

Let UCLA know about the scholly from Vanderbilt and they beat it so at this point unless I hear back from Harvard I'm making plans to move to Los Angeles! :) Withdrew from Penn, Vandy, Suffolk, Michigan.

2-May-12 Waitlisted at Harvard. Will be riding this waitlist until I can't i.e July 31st. Fingerscrossed for this one still.

Now Northwestern is the only school not to get back to me.

3-May-12 Accepted at Northwestern. With that my cycle is complete (aside from that Harvard WL).

Such a shame, i REALLY wanted this school, but admitting me at this point in the cycle meant i had already committed to another school, and NU had no more scholarship money to offer.

5-May-12 Got financial package from NU, $0 merit aid. Will be withdrawing.

15-May-12 Accepted at NYU!!! So excited for this one. Waiting to hear how much aid they have however... It'll be hard to turn down UCLA with little to no aid.

20-May-12 25k per year at NYU, (appealed for more, request denied) SERIOUSLY considered this, but in the end withdrew from NYU.

1 Jun-12 JS! email!!!! OH MY GOOOOOD!

5-Jun-12 Had my Js1, went well I think, and now for what is hopefully the final wait of this admissions cycle for a Js2!

14-Jun-12 JS2!!!!! CANNOT BELIEVE IT! I will be in Cambridge in the fall!!!!!! :)

3-Jul-12 Still can hardly believe this. Applied for financial aid, just awaiting the award package :D
