ADDITIONAL INFO & UPDATES

I would prefer to stay in CA, but will go out of state if the offer is right.

1/25- Accepted to Florida Coastal, and offered $30k over 3 years. Sure is nice to have an option now!

1/29- Rejected by Nebraska, that came fast.

2/4- Accepted to Thomas Jefferson
2/11- Thomas Jefferson has offered $51,000 over 3 years, so I'm definitely going to keep this under consideration.

2/14- In at GONZAGA!!!! I was also offered $37,500 over 3 years, very exciting.

2/16- Waitlisted by Chapman...how ridiculous.

2/29- Accepted to Thomas M. Cooley, 50% scholarship offer.

3/6- Accepted to Wayne State, ranked 1 spot above Chapman! Source: US News 2009 rankings.

3/12- Rejected by ASU, 0/2 on top 100 schools so far. Hopefully I'll get better news from my remaining schools.

3/24- Waitlisted by Marquette....Noooooooooo!! I decided to remain on it via their online form, so I'll hope for the best.

3/27- Waitlisted by Southwestern, and I'm the first one on LSN to receive this honor. How legendary.

4/5- rejected by Loyola, 0/3 on top 100 schools.

4/16- Lakers #1 seed!

4/18- Rejected by USD, I just knew I would hear from them this week. That is now 0/4 on the top 100.

5/02- Waitlisted by Santa Clara, so it looks like I've got lots of waiting to do...

5/15- I listed May 15th as my deadline for Southwestern on the waitlist return form, and after 1 1/2 months of no response from that school, I'd like to say "see u later" to Southwestern.

5/22- Accepted to Northern Illinois, but I've chosen to respectfully withdraw.

And with that, my apps cycle is finished. Now it's time to see how my waitlists turn out before making my final decision

6/19- Marquette sent me a notice about remaining on their waitlist, the same one which I already replied to 2 months ago, so they're obviously not keeping track of anything. See u guys later, withdrawn.

6/25- Got a notice from Southwestern about a new status check site for their waitlist, and the user name they gave me is exactly the same as the name I have for Chapman. It's nice to see that both schools are using the same crappy site and system.

We\'ve got pretty close numbers and are both applying to Southwestern and Arizona State. Do you have any preference, among all the ones you\'re applying to?? Good luck with your picks, let me know how it goes.

I'm very interested in Gonzaga as well and should be hearing very soon...how were you notified? I submitted mine back in September and still haven't heard anything! We have similar stats so I'm hoping for a similar decision....congrats!

Your numbers are just a notch above mine and you got into Gonzaga with a nice scholarship... congrats! Am hoping hard for a similar fate! If you don't want your spot you can give it to me... :D Best of luck with the rest of the cycle!

I came across your profile and saw that you had also been waitlisted @ Chapman. I feel the same way about Chapman's waitlist. Have you heard anything from Southwestern? I wish the best of luck on your apps:)

I live close to Chapman and I was thinking of going over to admissions and doing the chicken dance at the same that I tell them to take their waitlist and shove it. I'm dreaming of that day...lol. I got the same financial aid forms from Southwestern. I'm tired of waiting for them, I'm going to call next week and see what they say. I will let you know if I get any info. Please keep me informed on your status @ Southwestern and Loyola. Best of Luck to you:)

Hi Seven Times 22, I called Southwestern and they informed me that it takes about 8-10 weeks from when you sent in your app to get an answer. Gosh I wish they would just give us an answer, other schools are already asking for the seat deposits. Congrats on Wayne!!!!

Ohhhhh no, I'm so sorry. There is still a chance:) They dropped to a tier 4 so there is still hope. Have u thought of California Western, they give good scholarships and their deadline is April 1st. Don't dispair I know u will get in to SW. I don't think we have a chance at Chapman since they jumped to a tier 3. I got an email from them today rubbing it in my face...lol.

Well good luck on SCU. Honestly I think at this point if they haven't said no yet it's a good sign :) Either way, you have some great choices to pick from and I'm sure everything's gonna work out great. Best of Luck to you!

Haha sorry SevenTimes, took me a while to come back and visit. Theres 3 more schools left for me also: McGeorge, USF (not considering it anymore) and SCU. I got waitlisted at Seattle but I withdrew to make room for others. No more Washington for me :) still looking like Colorado for me.

how long are you gonna wait for your waitlist? packing up for to move already?

  • waiting

Haha I\'m not sure, just a few more weeks I guess...these waitlists are irritating! Marquette asked me in another email yesterday if I would like to maintain my spot on their waitlist, and I said yes, so hopefully they\'ll make a decision soon. I\'ve heard nothing from Santa Clara so I\'m pretty sure that I have no chance there. So basically I\'m just waiting to see if Marquette offers something interesting, but if they do not at least match Gonzaga in scholarship $$ then I won\'t consider going there if accepted. How\'s it going with you?? Is it going to be Colorado?

Yea Colorado it is for me. Moving out there in 6 weeks. So I have some time to get familiar with the area. That\\\\\\\'s why I asked how long you\\\\\\\'re gonna wait for the waitlist. If you\\\\\\\'re moving out of state then give yourself time to get to know the area. Good luck to u
