You might be right about the personal statement. (In addition to unforgiving attitudes toward your record ). Maybe there is somewhere to which you could still apply, with a 4/1 deadline, with a completely new personal statement. The right personal statement could make the difference.

If you're going to make something up, do your homework. First off, and no offense, but Yale rejects people with your numbers. Secondly, have you been on Yale's page? You are, very mysteriously, the only deferral. Does that smell funny to you?
