Rejected by Minnesota via small white envelope. Status checker changed to "Decision Mailed" or something on Dec. 29. Not too big of a deal, this is probably the best school I applied to.

It's nice to be in at my safety this soon. PSU is my parents' undergrad alma mater, so I have a great appreciation for State College and the university in general (and the football team). I'm not sure if this acceptance indicates anything regarding my other apps, but I hope it at least means that I didn't make any ridiculous errors in my personal statement. Congrats to all the new Nittany Lions!

I got mail from Wisconsin, too. It seems like a great school. If it weren't so far from both New York and California (where all my friends and family are scattered), I'd apply. With your (our) numbers, you are probably in. Wishing you the best of luck! I wish I had one yes to my name, but still waiting...
